I wanted to extend my sincere thanks to you and First Pass for your generous art supply donation to Hart Middle School. The materials you provided have made a real difference in my classroom helping students explore their creativity, build confidence, and take pride in their artistic voice.
I’m excited to share some photos from our recent Identity Agamograph Project, which was displayed as part of our “Be Yourself” hallway showcase. Students created optical illusion portraits that reveal two sides of their identity, combining portraiture with color theory, symmetry, and symbolism. The results were incredible, and the project really encouraged meaningful conversations about self-expression and perspective.
Your organization’s support helped make this possible, and I wanted you to see the wonderful impact it’s having on our students. I’ve attached a few photos of their artwork and the lesson summary for you to share with your supporters.
I’ll continue sending more photos of student artwork throughout the school year so you can see how your donations continue to inspire our young artists.
Thank you again for your partnership and commitment to expanding access to quality art education in D.C.
Best Regards,
Cameron Henderson
